The holidays have come and gone and it's time for a new year and reset. Before you get into the organizing, exercising and planning, take some time for yourself and book a trip to Eureka Springs! During the Winter, we have noticed the crowds dissipate, but businesses are still open and ready to serve you without the hustle and bustle of holiday shopping, perfect for a Winter escape! Whether you are going for food, for adventure, with a significant other or just to be alone, we have rounded up some plans to get you started.

For the foodie:

While some restaurants close up shop during these chilly months, others remain open. Be sure to always call ahead and double check on Winter hours - but here are some of our favorites that are open during the Winter.

One of leisurlist's favorite food stops for lunch is Nibbles. Located on Spring St., Nibbles offers gourmet salads, sandwiches, dessert and coffee. They have a rotating menu of daily specials including quiche and speciality sandwiches or salads so you will always find a new and delicious meal.

If you find yourself in Eureka Springs over the weekend, hit up Ermilio's for some classic Italian home cooking and a cozy atmosphere. It's perfect for warming up after a cold day, they have been a local favorite for over 20 years.

Prefer cooking at home or your AirBnB or BnB? Swing by the Fresh Harvest tasting room. They have one of the largest selections of extra virgin olive oils, fused and infused olive oils, gourmet olive oils and aged basalmic vinegars on tap in the US!

You can't go wrong with Aquarius Tacos' freshly-squeezed margaritas paired with their authentic Mexican cuisine--the tamales are a personal favorite. The aqua blue plates and eclectic decor are a very 'grammable way to remember your Eureka Springs trip.

For the ones who seek adventure:

Eureka Springs has quite the adventurous side for you. Big cats, biking, and escape rooms - you're guaranteed to get your fix here.

Interested in seeing some big cats up close? Visit Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge. Not only is a trip to the Refuge fun and educational, but as a GFAS-accredited sanctuary, the refuge is an ethical tourism destination, meaning your visit is one you can feel good about!

For hiking and biking enthusiasts, Lake Leatherwood maintains over 25 miles of trails with varying terrains. Open year-round, just check your weekly weather forecast and bundle up! *Insider Tip: Need help with shuttles? Adventure Mountain Outfitters to the rescue!*

Looking for a new challenge? Try Escape Room 13 where you can also learn a little more about the thrilling history of Eureka Springs.

For the introverts:

Love solo shopping and antiquing? Swing by Vintage Cargo and check out unique boutique items and home decor.

Like flipping through stacks and stacks of vintage records? MoJo's records has your back. Flip through records and venture back in time.

Explore the springs and trails. With no leaves on the trails, you can see springs and homes tucked into the hillside that you wouldn’t normally notice. There are a handful of trails easily accessible from the Spring St area.

For the couples:

Cozy up at the Crescent Hotel and enjoy the New Moon Spa & Salon. The spa offers relaxation spaces, couples specialty massages, and other treatments to relax your body and mind at the historic Crescent Hotel.

Treat your sweetie to coffee and dessert. The baristas at Brews will help you keep your energy up with seasonal coffee concoctions and homemade desserts (ask Jim about the truffles).

Reopens Feb 12* For fudge-tasting, stop by two Two Dumb Dames Fudge Factory and take home a tasty souvenir (or two or five.)

Enjoy a romantic dinner together at Rogues Manor. Not only is the food delicious, but the atmosphere is unlike any other. *Insider Tip: If you are recently engaged and planning your wedding, we heard Rogues makes a great rehearsal dinner spot.*
